Chellamangalam Devi Temple is a historic site situated 2.6 kilometers from Sreekaryam and 1.6 kilometers from Chempazhanthy in the Thiruvananthapuram district. The temple is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Devi, who is the principal deity.

An annual festival spanning ten days is observed during the month of Kumbh, referred to as Chellamangalam Pooram. This celebration commences with the Trikkodiyettu and concludes with the Pallivetta and Aarattu.
The Kaliyoottu Maholsavam at Sree Chellamangalam Devi Temple is a prominent event that honors the fierce aspect of the goddess through various rituals and ceremonies. This multi-day festival features the Kaliyoottu ritual, during which the deity is adorned with a sword. Devotees engage in processions, cultural activities, and seek blessings for health and prosperity. It serves as a period for community cohesion and spiritual contemplation.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ ശ്രീകാര്യത്തുനിന്നും 2.6 കിലോമീറ്ററും, ചെമ്പഴന്തിയിൽ നിന്ന് 1.6 കിലോമീറ്ററും അകലെയായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ചെല്ലമംഗലം ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം. 'പഴയ മിടിപ്പുര' എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന മറ്റൊരു പ്രശസ്തമായ ചെല്ലമംഗലം ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരക്കടുത്ത് വിളവൂർക്കലിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവിക്കാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ചെല്ലമംഗലം ദേവീക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭരണകാര്യങ്ങൾ ട്രസ്റ്റ് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു. കുംഭമാസത്തിൽ പത്ത് ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന വാർഷിക മഹോത്സവം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ഈ മഹോത്സവം 'ചെല്ലമംഗലം പൂരം' എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റോടെ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ഉത്സവം, പള്ളിവേട്ടയും ആറാട്ടും കഴിഞ്ഞ് തൃക്കൊടിയിറക്കത്തോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള പൊങ്കാല, ദീപാലങ്കാരങ്ങൾ, നൃത്തനൃത്ത്യങ്ങൾ, സംഗീതസദസ്സ് എന്നിവയും നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
