Palliyara Bhagavathi Temple, (പള്ളിയറ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം) situated in Attingal Elamba, Trivandrum, Kerala, is devoted to the veneration of Goddess Bhadrakali.
One of the prominent rituals conducted at the temple is Kaliyoottu, commonly referred to as Kali Puja. During this observance, devotees engage in specific poojas and rituals to pay homage to Goddess Bhadrakali. ഇളമ്പ ഏറത്ത് ഭഗവതി മുടക്കൽ ദേശത്തിന്റെ ദേശദേവതയാണ്, സർവ്വശക്തിയായ ദേവത, അനാഥരുടെ രക്ഷാധികാരിയായി, കരുണയുടെ സ്പർശം കൊണ്ട് ഭക്തർക്കു കരുണ നൽകുന്ന അമ്മയായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ കാളിയൂട്ട് മഹോത്സവം വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമാണ്. നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന, അത്യപൂർവ്വമായ ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവമാണ് പള്ളിയറ കാളിയുട്ട്. തിൻമയുടെ മേൽ നൻമയുടെ വിജയം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന കാളിയുട്ട് മഹോത്സവം, ഒരു ഗ്രാമം മുഴുവൻ അരങ്ങേറുന്ന അതിവിശിഷ്ടമായ അനുഷ്‌ഠാനകലയുടെ ഭക്തി സാന്ദ്രമായ പ്രകടനമാണ്. പാരമ്പര്യത്തിന്റെ തനിമയാൽ ഉജ്ജ്വലമായും, ജനസഹസ്രങ്ങളുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തം കൊണ്ട് പ്രശസ്തമായും പള്ളിയറ കാളിയുട്ട് മഹോത്സവം നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് സമീപം നിർമ്മിച്ച ഉച്ചബലിപ്പുരയിലാണ് കാളിയൂട്ട് നടക്കുന്നത്. ഉച്ചബലിക്രിയകളോടെയാണു കാളിയൂട്ട് ചടങ്ങുകൾ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. തുടർന്ന് കലശം കെട്ടലും, മുടിയെടുപ്പും നടക്കുന്നു. പ്രധാന ചടങ്ങായ നിലത്തിൽപ്പോർ പിന്നീട് നടക്കും. തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റ് മഹോത്സവം (മീന ഉത്രമഹോത്സവം) പത്ത് ദിവസങ്ങളോളം ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ ഉത്സവം തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച്, അങ്കുര പൂജ, പഞ്ചഗവ്യ നവകലശപൂജ, ശ്രീഭൂതബലി, കലശാഭിഷേകം എന്നിവയിലൂടെ മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുന്നു. മഞ്ഞ ശീവേലി, താലപ്പൊലി, വിളക്ക്, ആകാശദീപക്കാഴ്ച എന്നിവയും ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. ഗരുഡൻതൂക്കം, സമൂഹ പൊങ്കാല, പള്ളിവേട്ട എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത്, ആറാട്ടുകലശപൂജ, ആറാട്ടുബലി, ആറാട്ട് ഘോഷയാത്ര എന്നിവയും ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി നടക്കുന്നു.
ആറാട്ടിനുശേഷം തൃക്കൊടിയിറക്കവും വലിയകാണിക്കയും നടക്കുന്നു. ഈ ഭക്തി നിറഞ്ഞ ചടങ്ങുകൾ, വർണ്ണാഭമായ അലങ്കാരങ്ങൾ, കലാപരിപാടികൾ എന്നിവയോടെ ഉത്സവം സമാപിക്കുന്നു. സർവ്വ ഐശ്വര്യ പ്രദായിനിയും കാരുണ്യ മൂർത്തിയുമായ പള്ളിയറ ഭഗവതിയുടെ തിരുനടയിൽ, ഈശ്വര ചൈതന്യം സമൂർത്തത കൈവരിക്കുന്ന തിരു ഉത്സവനാളുകളിൽ, ആബാലവൃദ്ധം ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ ക്ഷേത്ര ദർശനം നടത്തി സായൂജ്യമടയുന്നതിന് ക്ഷേത്രസന്നിധിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരുന്നു.
