(കമലേശ്വരം മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രം) The Shiva temple is situated in Kamleswaram within the Thiruvananthapuram district. It is approximately 2.7 kilometers from East Fort and around 2.2 kilometers from Attukal Bhagwati Temple. The temple is in close proximity to the Government Higher Secondary School Kamleswaram.
The principal deity worshipped at the temple is the Hindu god Shiva. Surrounding the temple are several upadevathas, or sub-deities, and the structure has recently undergone renovations based on the Deva Prashnam conducted by skilled astrologers. Among the prominent upadevathas present on the site are Lord Ganesh, Nagaraja, and Maadan Thampuran. The temple experiences significant visitor turnout during the festivals of Maha Shivaratri and Thiruvathira. It operates under the jurisdiction of the Travancore Devaswom Board.

കമലേശ്വരം മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രം തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിൽ ആറ്റുകാലിനടുത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. കിഴക്കേ കോട്ടയിൽ നിന്ന് 2.7 കിലോമീറ്റർ, ആറ്റുകാൽ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 2.2 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം. ഗവൺമെൻറ് ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളിന്റെ സമീപത്താണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം മഹാദേവനായ ശിവനു സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, കൂടാതെ തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിലാണിത്.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവതകൾ ഗണപതി, നാഗരാജാവ്, മാടൻ തമ്പുരാൻ എന്നിവരാണ്. ഭക്തർ മോക്ഷം, സമ്പത്ത്, രോഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള മോചനം, അറിവ് നേടൽ എന്നിവയ്ക്കായി ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നു. ശിവരാത്രി പ്രധാന വിശേഷ ദിവസമാണ്, കൂടാതെ തിരുവാതിരയും പ്രദോഷവും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന മറ്റ് ഉത്സവങ്ങളാണ്.
