Kammattam Sri Mahaganapathy Temple (കമ്മട്ടം ശ്രീ മഹാഗണപതി ക്ഷേത്രം) is situated in Thiruvananthapuram, with Lord Ganesha as the principal deity.
From the Petta railway station located in the Thiruvananthapuram district, a 1.5 km drive along the airport road leads to the historically significant Kammattam Sri Mahaganapati Temple, situated opposite the General Hospital. The temple derives its name, Kammattam Ganapati Temple, from its association with the coin committee of the Travancore government. Following the merger of Travancore into the Indian Union in 1949, the committee was disbanded. Subsequently, the temple was transferred from the committee's jurisdiction and placed under the administration of the Travancore Devaswom Board. The temple observes all special occasions, with Vinayaka Chaturthi being celebrated with particular reverence.

തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് വഞ്ചിയൂരിൽ നിന്ന് 1.1 കിലോമീറ്റർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ, ജനറൽ ആശുപത്രിയുടെ എതിർവശത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ചരിത്രപരമായ കമ്മട്ടം ശ്രീ മഹാഗണപതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരാം. തിരുവിതാംകൂർ സർക്കാരിന്റെ നാണയ കമ്മട്ടത്തോടു ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ക്ഷേത്രമായതിനാൽ, ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് കമ്മട്ടം ഗണപതി ക്ഷേത്രം എന്ന പേരാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. 1949-ൽ തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ഇന്ത്യൻ യൂണിയനിൽ ലയിച്ചതിനുശേഷം, കമ്മട്ടം ക്ഷേത്രം കമ്മട്ടം വകുപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് മാറ്റി തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡിന്റെ കീഴിൽ എത്തിച്ചു. എല്ലാ വിശേഷദിവങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു, അതിൽ വിനായകചതുർത്ഥി ആഘോഷം പ്രത്യേക പ്രാധാന്യമർഹിക്കുന്നു.
