Kudappanakunnu Devi Temple (കുടപ്പനക്കുന്ന് ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം) is situated in the serene and picturesque region of Kudappanakunnu within Thiruvananthapuram city. This temple is devoted to Goddess Durga Devi.
Kudappanakunnu is a wooded region situated at an elevation of 500 feet above sea level. The temple's annual festival takes place during the month of Meenam. This celebration commences with Thrikodiyettu and concludes with Pallivetta and Aarattu, followed by Thrikkodiirakkam. The festival features an array of attractions, including traditional dances, musical performances, ezhunnallathu, thalapolivilakku, kettukazhchas, floats, and fireworks.
Bhagavathiseva is conducted at the temple on the full moon day of each month. This ritual is dedicated to the Goddess and is intended to promote the welfare, prosperity, and health of families. It is considered particularly auspicious to perform this pooja on the 3rd, 7th, 12th, and full moon days consecutively. Following the Panchopachara Poojas, offerings are made to appease the Goddess, accompanied by the recitation of Durga Manthra, Tripurasundari Mantra, Sukta Mantras, and concluding with Lalitasahasranama. Additionally, various mantras are chanted to invoke auspiciousness.
Neyyabhishekam for Shasta involves filling a coconut, symbolizing the body, with ghee, which is believed to nourish the soul, and offering it to the Lord. It is thought that performing ghee abhishekam will attract all forms of prosperity. Nagar Pooja and Archana are conducted in front of the Nagar on every Ayilyam day.

ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ വാർഷിക മഹോത്സവം മീനമാസത്തിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവം തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റോടെ ആരംഭിച്ച്, പള്ളിവേട്ടയും ആറാട്ടും കഴിഞ്ഞ് തൃക്കൊടിയിറക്കത്തോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് നൃത്തനൃത്ത്യങ്ങൾ, സംഗീതസദസ്സ്, എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത്, താലപ്പൊലിവിളക്ക്, കെട്ടുകാഴ്ചകൾ എന്നിവ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.ദേവിയെ അന്നപൂർണ്ണേശ്വരിയായി സങ്കൽപ്പിച്ച്കൊണ്ട് നൽകുന്ന പൊങ്കാല വഴിപാടും വളരെ വിശേഷപ്പെട്ട വഴിപാടാണ്. പൊങ്കാല സമർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്ന ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ദേവിയുടെ അഭീഷ്ടസിദ്ധി കൈവരുന്നു.
എല്ലാ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ദിവസങ്ങളിലും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പൊങ്കാല സമർപ്പിക്കുവാനുള്ള അവസരം ഉണ്ടെന്നുള്ള പ്രത്യേകതയും ഉണ്ട്. മറ്റൊരു പ്രധാന വഴിപാട് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവനായ ശാസ്താവിന് നീരാഞ്ജനവും, നെയ്യഭിഷേകവുമാണ്. ശനീശ്വരനായ ശാസ്‌താവിൻറെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തിനായി നടത്തുന്ന നീരാജന വഴിപാട് ശനിദശയിലെ ദോഷങ്ങൾ, ഏഴരശനി, കണ്ടകശനി, അഷ്ടമശനി എന്നിവ മാറ്റി എല്ലാ സമാധാനങ്ങളും, സുഖഐശ്വര്യങ്ങളും കൈവരുത്തുവാൻ അത്യുത്തമമാണെന്ന് ദൈവജ്ഞരും ഭക്തജനങ്ങളും ഒരുപോലെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.
എല്ലാ ശനിയാഴ്ചകളിലും വഴിപാട് നടത്തുന്നു.
