Meletheruvu Sree Mutharamman Temple is a renowned temple situated in (മേലെത്തെരുവ് ശ്രീ മുത്താരമ്മൻ ക്ഷേത്രം നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര )Swadesabhimani Nagar along the Poowar Neyyattinkara road, in proximity to Neyyattinkara within the Thiruvananthapuram district. This temple is dedicated to Sri Mutharaman.
The temple is consecrated to Sri Mutharaman, who serves as the principal deity, accompanied by Sri Parameswaran (Bhairavan) and Bhadrakali as secondary deities. Mutharamman, revered as the protector of her devotees, is believed to shield them from all malevolent forces. She is recognized as the sovereign of the three realms and the guardian of prosperity. By vanquishing Moodhevi, along with other evil entities and ailments, Mutharamman bestows longevity, health, affluence, and well-being upon her followers. Bhairava is depicted in the form of Goddess Bhairavi, adorned with a golden shield, pasham, and trident in each of her four hands.
