Palakkavu Bhagavathi Temple (ഇടവ പാലക്കാവ് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം) located in Edava within the Thiruvananthapuram District of India, is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali Devi. Goddess Bhadrakali, appearing as an avatar of Palakkavilamma, is the principal deity of the temple.

A significant festival takes place during the month of Kumbham, during which the entire village, regardless of religious affiliations, engages in a celebratory atmosphere. The streets are adorned with vibrant decorations, featuring colorful processions. Tender coconut fronds and plantain leaf-stalks are utilized for embellishing the streets.
The Goddess Bhadrakali is revered as the main deity of the temple, and notably, she manifests as Bhadrakali, an incarnation of Palakkavilamma. The star associated with the deity is Karthika. Surrounding the temple are several upadevathas (sub-deities), and the temple has recently undergone renovations in accordance with the Deva Prashnam conducted by skilled astrologers. The primary upadevathas present include Goddess Bhadrakali, Lord Ganesh, Navagraham, Adithyan, Hanuman, Brahmarakshas, Yogeswaran, and Nagaru Kavu. The Karthika Thirunal Mahothsavam, the temple's principal festival, occurs during the Karthika nakshatra in the Malayalam month of Kumbham, spanning ten days and culminating in Ghosayathra (procession) and Ezhunnallathu (procession).
