Thrikkaipatta Shiva Temple is a well-known temple situated along the main road connecting Kalpetta and Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad district, Kerala.
The name 'Thrikkaipatta' in Malayalam translates to 'bands in three hands'. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, with the idol facing east.
Daily, three poojas are performed here with devotion. Alongside the main deity, the temple also houses idols of Goddess Bhadrakali, Lord Ganapathy, Lord Sastha, Naga, Lord Lakshmana, Kshethrapalan, and Brahmarakshas.
The temple is conveniently located near the Muttil bus stop. Visitors can easily reach the temple by auto rickshaws, buses, or taxis from Kalpetta or Sultan Bathery.

കൽപറ്റയും സുൽത്താൻ ബത്തേരിയും ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രധാന റോഡിന്റെ സമീപത്താണ് വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ തൃക്കൈപ്പട്ട ശിവക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. മുട്ടിൽ ബസ് സ്റ്റോപ്പിന് സമീപമുള്ള ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്കും സഞ്ചാരികൾക്കും സുലഭമായി എത്തിച്ചേരാൻ സൗകര്യമുള്ളതാണ്. കൽപറ്റയിലോ സുൽത്താൻ ബത്തേറിയിലോ നിന്നുള്ള ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷകൾ, ബസുകൾ, ടാക്സികൾ എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക് എത്താനാകും.
‘തൃക്കൈപ്പട്ട’ എന്ന പദം മഹാദേവന്റെ ത്രികൈകളിൽ ധരിച്ചിരുന്ന കാപ്പിനെയാണ് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ഭഗവാൻ ശിവനു സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ശിവവിഗ്രഹം കിഴക്കോട്ട് മുഖംചായുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പ്രതിദിനം മൂന്നു പ്രാതിഷ്ഠാന according പൂജകൾ നടത്തി വരുന്നു.
ശിവനെ കൂടാതെ ഭദ്രകാളി ദേവി, ഗണപതി, ശ്രീ ധർമ്മശാസ്താവ്, നാഗദേവത, ശ്രീ ലക്ഷ്മണൻ, ക്ഷേത്രപാലൻ, ബ്രഹ്മരാക്ഷസ് എന്നിവരുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നിലവിലുണ്ട്.
